We’ve have some fun weekends around here! Wanna see what we we’ve been up to? Well two weekends ago Chocko was busy on Saturday cheering on the runners in the Baltimore Marathon (and half marathon, and the relay too) with his gal Chloe.
Then on Sunday he got to attend the Purple Stride event to raise funds to fight Pancreatic Cancer. He got to ride up and hang out with his buddy Tyson during the event. And meet lots of people too!
They wore their purple with pride!

He got some good snuggles in with his mama on this beautiful day – and got a ton of play time in with Tyson in the grass.
Sounds like a fun weekend right? Well that was just the warm up! This past weekend was Barcstoberfest (check out our visit from last year) and Chocko signed up and finished his first 5k to benefit BARCS – the shelter he was sprung from! It was the inaugural 5k. Chocko even got his own bib
He ran with a new friend, Julius (available for adoption through Mid Atlantic Bully Buddies) who would make someone a fabulous running partner!
I was so proud of him! He did so good running with tons of dogs and was such a great ambassador for his breed at busy Barcstoberfest.
I wasn’t the only one who was proud…he got some post-race love from his girlfriend Molly who came to cheer him on.
Busy boy right? We’re exhausted! Don’t worry, he’ll nap enough this week for the both of us. I just love fall, there are so many fun things going on and the weather has been per.fect. I hope everyone is enjoying October! Anyone doing anything fun with their pooches recently?!

What an exciting weekend! Chocko looks like he had the time of his life.
Little Ray-Ray loves the fact that Chocko’s bib was #527 which is a combo of the two players Ray is named after…Ray Lewis and Ray Rice! WOOT!
Wow, I’m impressed that Chocko ran a 5k (we are still working to teach Athena how to appropriately run with us because she thinks it’s play time when we try to run her on leash)!
Recently we went to Doggie Palooza with Emily from Our Waldo Bungie. It was super fun! We got tons of samples, met lots of new dogs and humans, and had a ton of pictures taken!
Looks like Chocko has a pretty full social calendar!
That picture of Chocko in the grass with his bottom lip out is sooooooooo cute I can’t stand it!
Chloe is gorgeous!
Awesome! Seems like you guys had a great time! I don’t run, I trot, but its still fun to trot with the dogs = ) I’ve wanted to do a 5K for a long time, I should train for one – recently I’ve found a few events in Raleigh where one can run with their dogs, which is what I would like to do.
Where did you get his pumpkin shirt??? Toooo cute
Target!!! size large (for reference!)
